Course #1. SUP Ready to Race Introduction
Foundations of SUP Racing
Perfect for newcomers to flat‑water SUP racing or paddlers who want to improve their personal performance.
This entry‑level course provides hands‑on water experience and introduces the essential skills needed for safe, efficient, and enjoyable racing.
Key learning outcomes include:
Stroke efficiency and technique refinement
Buoy turns and manoeuvring skills
Drafting strategies
Race starts and acceleration
Pacing and board control
A fun, confidence‑building mock race to test your skills
This course builds a strong technical base and prepares paddlers for more advanced race development.
Entry Requirements
Experienced paddler with at least 40 strokes per minute

Course #2. SUP Ready to Race Development
Building Race Skills & Knowledge
The Development module expands on the skills learned in the Introduction course and introduces the theoretical foundations needed for improved race performance.
Topics include:
Race‑specific skill development
Basic sports nutrition and hydration
Injury prevention and safe training habits
Race‑day planning and preparation
Understanding conditions and course layouts
This level helps paddlers become more strategic, informed, and physically prepared for competitive environments.

Enrolled in the Introduction course.
Experienced paddler with at least 40 strokes per minute

Course #3. SUP Ready to Race Xcel
Advanced Racing & Performance Training
Designed for paddlers with race experience who want to fine‑tune their technique, optimise performance, and structure their own training programs.
Advanced content includes:
Technique refinement and efficiency under load
Video analysis for performance improvement
Understanding energy systems and race demands
Designing a basic linear training program
Competition planning and season structuring
Mental preparation and performance focus
The Excel module equips paddlers with the tools to train independently, race strategically, and compete at a higher level.
Entry Requirements
Experienced advanced level paddlers only, with at least 50 strokes per minute
Previous racing experience.
Note: you can enol in this course without having completed the Introduction or Development courses.
