How to Become an ASI Level 1 Bodyboarding Instructor / Coach

  • Able to bodyboard at the intermediate level (perform right-hand or left-hand turn, bottom turn, top turn, cut-back, in top half of wave below the lip). 

In addition:
Have a current Surf Rescue certificate and First Aid certificate from an approved provider —this can be provided before or after enrolment but must be obtained to gain your ASI instructor certification. 

2. Enrol in an ASI Level 1 Bodyboarding Instructor Course

ASI offers flexible learning options, allowing you to choose between:

3. Complete Theory & Practical Training
