Meet the Team
Surf the Bay Surf School is owned and operated by Tim Lassau and Glen Hall. They both grew up in the local area, are advanced level surfers and have been surfing most of their lives.
Tim is a qualified primary school education teacher and has been a surf coach since 2006. Glen is a qualified high school teacher and has been a surf coach since 2007.
After working with other surf schools, Tim and Glen joined forces to create their own. Their vision was to introduce an innovative and engaging approach to learning how to surf—one that wasn’t yet available in the area.
They created unique learn-to-surf formats that combine educational techniques with fun, enabling students to learn effortlessly, progress at their own pace, and enjoy the experience.
Since its establishment in 2010, Surf the Bay has emerged as the foremost provider of surfing activities in the Eurobodalla region.
