Become an ASI SUP Instructor with ASI’s Fastrack courses at  Dun Laoghaire Harbour, Dublin, Sept 2026

The ASI Fasttrack course provides key skills on the water and in classroom in a one day format.  It combines online learning with face to face workshop, and completing pre-requisite courses at the same time.

If you deliver sessions in at coastal locations, also enrol for the half day ASI Fasttrack Level 2 SUP Instructor (Exposed Waters) course.

A separate SUP Rescue course is also being held, for instructors updating their rescue or anyone obtaining a new certificate.

The ASI SUP Instructor courses are regarded as the best worldwide, with comprehensive information covering paddling skills, instructional techniques, operations and safety to have you delivering and guiding sessions with safety and confidence.

Delivered by local Irish ASI Master SUP Trainer, Paul Byrne. An experienced SUP school operator, trainer, SUP competitor and event organiser, and one of the first to set up and operate a SUP school in Ireland.  The courses are hosted by Irish SUP.

Qualification Requirements:

To gain your ASI Level 1 SUP Instructor qualification, the following 3 ASI courses are required:
ASI SUP Wise Intensiv
ASI SUP Water Safety Rescue Award
ASI Level 1 SUP Instructor (Enclosed Flat Water)

You can enrol in all 3 courses at the same time by choosing the “ Level 1 SUP Instructor  3 courses option” enrolment option.

If you already hold a rescue certificate, you just enrol in 2 course option
ASI SUP Wise Intensiv

Choose the  “Level 1 SUP Instructor - 2 courses option” enrolment

To gain your ASI Level 2 SUP Instructor qualification, the following 4 ASI courses are required:
