Kingston upon Thames is just 25 minutes by train from central London, yet the picturesque town feels a world away from the hectic big city.
The ASI SUP instructor training is at Albany Outdoors SUP School, located right on the water.
It is the ideal supping location in the city. Enjoy stunning views of the river and spot wildlife such as water voles, swans and dragon flies.
Kingston also has numerous parks and walkways along the river.
Seven Saxon Kings are thought to have been crowned in Kingston. The Coronation Stone, Kingston’s most historic landmark, now sits in the grounds of Guildhall near the 12th century Clattern Bridge. Visit Kingston Museum, the local history room or the town’s archives service to learn about Kingston’s rich history from its royal connections to its aviation heritage.
It really is another world.
