No refund is provided once training manuals have been posted, practical sessions attended or e-learning account has been accessed.  Otherwise full refund less £50 administration fee.

Complete theory online - work from home.
Complete practical assessments with an ASI Trainer.
Complete practical hours experience at an ASI Accredited SUP School or other approved SUP school.

This is an e-learning course, with practical assessments completed with a trainer.  

The trainer will provide guidance on the practical SUP and instruction skills, take video of you, conduct the assessment of your skills and provide feedback. 

The theory is completed online prior to attending the practical session.

Practical session date and time is organised with a trainer to suit your schedule.

There is a maximum of 2 people and the hours may slightly change depending if it is one person or two people.

SUP Central SUP School are providing local support for the ASI Instructor training, providing a wealth of local area knowledge. 


IMPORTANT INFORMATION

(1) Read the course information and requirements before enrolling. 
(2) Within 12 months for attending the workshop, instructors must submit a:
-Senior First Aid certificate
Your SUP Rescue certificate will not be issued until these are received.

The following equipment and clothing is required to complete the training:

  • SUP board & coiled leash
  • Paddle
  • SUP clothing 
  • Access to computer 
  • Organise to complete practical session with an ASI Trainer. 
  • A person/buddy to complete rescue in the practical session.

The training venue is held at Cliffs Lake, located only 10 minutes from the centre of Tamworth. 

The Lakes are set against a backdrop of trees and offers great paddling.   On site is the training room, changing rooms with hot showers, the Waterfront Bar, the Coffee Hut and sports shop.

Back to basics camping is also available in a stunning lakeside setting.

Tamworth is located in Staffordshire, England, 14 miles (23 km) north-east of Birmingham city centre and 103 miles (166 km) north-west of London.

The River Tame and River Anker flows through the town and is home of the historic Tamworth Castle and Moat House, (an 11th century Norman castle).
