Learn how to surf and have surfing lessons at Surf Easy Surf School, an ASI accredited surf school, located at Currumbin Alley, Gold Coast Queensland. It's one of the Gold Coast's best locations for learning to surf.

Surf Easy Surf School has been operating at beautiful, safe Currumbin Alley since January 1994. 

We run surf classes every weekday, weekends, public holidays and school holidays.

Pat and Ann welcome locals and visitors alike to enjoy a fun and exciting surfing experience!

Surf Easy Surf School is owned and run by Patrick O’Leary and Ann Stuart.   Patrick is an elite-advanced surfer and has surfed in all conditions in many parts of the world. Reef breaks, rock, sand etc.  As an accredited surfing instructor, he has taught thousands of clients from all types of backgrounds.

Ann looks after administration and logistics. 

Patrick is assisted in the surf school by a team of surfing instructors are all qualified with ASI, hold surf rescue, advanced resuscitation and senior first aid qualifications. 

Surf Easy offers group and private surfing lessons, Surf Wise beginner to intermediate surfing certificate courses, team building, surfing awareness for kids, adults, parties, school groups, parties, hens and stag parties and corporates.  

For the intermediate to advanced surfer, Surf Easy Surf School offers skills coaching, competition coaching and video coaching.

We run surf classes every weekday, weekends, public holidays and school holidays.

Like all Gold Coast Surf Schools ,we run all our lessons on a maximum of 8 students to a coach but the average is 6 or less so you are guaranteed plenty of attention.

Surfing sessions are held at Currumbin Alley. It is one of the Gold Coast‘s most famous surfing breaks with waves for all levels and abilities.

It has perfect beginner waves that wrap around the headland over a sandy beach. 

Advanced level waves are also further out and nearby.
