Welcome to Ulladulla Surf School, Ulladulla, Shoalhaven, NSW, Australia

Welcome to Ulladulla Surf School, a new ASI accredited learn to surf school, located at Ulladulla, Shoalhaven, about 230 km (3 hrs hours’ drive) south of Sydney.

There are 198 beaches in Shoalhaven, with so much choice there is always an uncrowded spot to surf. It’s a fantastic place for beginners, intermediate and advanced surfers as there are all levels of surf breaks from slow crumbly beach breaks to the steeper reef breaks and plenty of wildlife and nature to see.

Ulladulla Surf School is owned and run by Simon Twitchen. A UK surfer who started his first school in the UK at just 18 years old and ran it for 23 years. He was an elite competition surfer who competed for 25 years and won a number of big titles. He moved to Australia in 2009 and took over Ulladulla Surf School. The surf school has since won a number of tourism awards under his leadership.

The school offers a range of surfing lessons and activities from beginner to elite level. Large school groups can be accommodated with a range of other water sports activities and accommodation.

The surf school specialises in teaching people to progress no matter what their surfing ability. Group lessons have only 5 students to provide a more personalised service.

Simon and his team enjoy sharing their surfing passion to give their customers the best experience and one they will never forget.
