TIMI SUPS
School Summary
About
Learn how to stand up paddle and have SUP lessons at TIMI SUPs, an ASI accredited learn to SUP school, located on the outskirts of Sanmihaiu Roman, a village half hour drive or an hour bike ride from Timisoara.
Meet the Team
TIMI SUPs owned and operated by Alexandra Rosu, a passionate water sports instructor and yoga teacher whose journey into stand-up paddling began in 2016, where she fell in love with the simplicity and ease of the sport!
She is an ASI Level 2 SUP instructor, a qualified Yoga Teacher of 200 hours and kitesurf instructor. Prior to getting involved in SUP, Alexandra worked in the hospitality industry gaining valuable business and customer service experience.
Alexandra set up the SUP school in Romania after she decided to relocate back to her home city of Timisoara to be closer to her family. She wanted to continue her profession in SUP, work outdoors and be by the water.
Even though the Black Sea is hundreds of miles away but there is a river that runs through the city, and lots of mountain lakes a couple of hours drive away so there was lots of potential for paddling.
TIMI SUPS is focused on building a vibrant local community that embraces fitness, mindfulness, and water safety. Making SUP available to the local people and tourists, to showcase the local area, help people get fit or enjoy a new past-time, and learn in the best, safest and fun way possible.
