One More Wave Kata Beach Hostel and Surf School has been operating since 2015 as a surf school.  In 2025 they added SUP activities, to offer more activities for their clients.

Instructors are all local Phuket people. They have grown up by the sea and worked with life guards for several years and are experienced surfers and paddlers.

The SUP school offers group and private lessons, learn to SUP certificate courses, SUP tours, for kids, adults, travellers, school groups and corporates.

They have a range of SUP tours that takes you along the coast.

SUP rentals are also available to people with some paddling experience.

Lessons are held in Chinese, Thai and English.

One More Wave Kata Beach also has surf style hostel accommodation right near the beach, and offers surf, SUP and stay packages.  

SUP lessons and activities are held at Kata Beach. It is a stunning 1.5 km stretch of soft white sand and turquoise water.

From December to April, there are flat water conditions making it perfect for stand up paddling.   At other times of the year there are small waves.

The beach has soft sandy bottom, no marine creature hazards and its free from rocks and rips.
