Meet the Team
BrogLake was founded in 2012 by Emma and Sam Barnes, who now run it together with a shared passion for paddleboarding and water sports.
Their journey with SUP began in 2011, inspired by childhood summers spent improvising with an old windsurf board and half a kayak paddle.
With backgrounds in windsurfing and surfing, they found SUP offered the perfect way to stay connected to the water, when they moved inland.
Through BrogLake, they’ve created a welcoming space where people can discover stand up paddleboarding in a safe, fun environment, while building confidence and inspiration to continue in the sport.
Service Overview
BrogLake offers group and private lessons, SUP tours for all age groups and backgrounds.
Board rental is available, or feel free to bring your own gear. By joining the club, you'll enjoy access to water and equipment rentals—perfect for regular paddlers who want flexibility and community.
More than just a paddleboarding school, BrogLake fosters a friendly, social atmosphere where people can connect, learn, and grow.
They also offer windsurfing and foiling sessions, giving water enthusiasts even more ways to get out and enjoy the water.
