Learn to stand up paddle and have SUP lessons and tours at Atlantic Offshore Adventures, an ASI accredited learn to stand up paddle school, Kinsale Harbour, Kinsale, and Garrettstown Beach, Ballinspittle, County Cork, Ireland. 

Set along the stunning Wild Atlantic Way, these beautiful locations offer a mix of sheltered harbour waters and open coastal conditions, making them ideal for learning, exploring, and enjoying time on the water. 

Atlantic Offshore Adventures is owned and operated by Aileen Mann, a highly experienced watersports professional with over 26 years working in the outdoors, with extensive knowledge of the local coastline and knows exactly how to help people enjoy the very best of what the area has to offer. 

Aileen is an ASI Level 2 SUP Instructor (Exposed Waters), holds a degree in Outdoor Learning, Canoeing instructor certification, SLSGB Surf lifesaving, and STCW 95 commercial first aid.  

She founded Atlantic Offshore Adventures in 2015 with the aim of creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where people of all ages and abilities can experience the ocean. Her passion lies in helping others build confidence on the water, whether they are complete beginners or looking to progress their skills. 

Atlantic Offshore Adventures is supported by a team of experienced and qualified ASI SUP instructors, ensuring every lesson and tour is delivered to a high professional standard. 

Atlantic Offshore Adventures offers group and private lessons, SUP Wise learn to SUP certificate courses, SUP tours, team building and rentals for kids, adults, backpackers, parties, hens and stag parties, school groups, and corporates.  

They have a range of SUP tours that takes you along the coast, catering for different levels of paddling ability.  

SUP rentals are also available to people with some paddling experience.  

 They also offer other activities including coasteering, surfing, kayaking, archery tag, and the woodland warrior programme.

SUP lessons and activities are held at two stunning locations along the Wild Atlantic Way - Kinsale Harbour and Garrettstown Beach in County Cork.  

Kinsale Harbour offers calm, sheltered waters ideal for beginners, with scenic views of the historic harbour, colourful waterfront, and surrounding countryside. It’s the perfect environment to build confidence while enjoying a relaxed and picturesque setting. 

For those looking to experience the open ocean, sessions are also held at Garrettstown Beach, a beautiful sandy beach that offers flat water conditions and expansive views of the coastline.  

With access to both sheltered and exposed waters, there is always a suitable location to ensure safe, enjoyable, and varied on-water experiences depending on the conditions.

The nearby town of Kinsale is known for its colourful harbour, rich maritime history, and renowned food scene. Visitors can enjoy everything from waterfront cafés and boutique shops to unique local experiences such as visiting Kinsale Mead Co. for a taste of Ireland’s traditional honey wine, or joining the popular Kinsale Ghost Tours to discover the town’s fascinating and sometimes spooky history.
