Learn how to stand up paddle and have SUP lessons at the Surfit USA, an ASI accredited learn to stand up paddle school, located at Sarosota, Florida, just south of Tampa on Florida’s Gulf Coast.

Surfit USA is owned and operated by Aaron Pollard.  He is an experienced waterman, a previous competitive swimmer, water polo player, surfer, stand up paddler, professional lifeguard and professional fisherman.  He grew up in Hawaii, is an elite surfer and SUP surfer with over 40 years surfing gained in and around Hawaii and the world.  He also completed 7 years as a Hawaiian professional lifeguard.

Aaron started the SUP school to introduce others to SUP and water activities.  It was the ideal business that combined his love of being on the water, helping others with water safety and water skills.

Aaron is an ASI accredited SUP instructor, holding accreditation as well as senior first and rescue qualifications.  He is assisted in the SUP school by experienced ASI accredited SUP instructors.

Surfit USA is also an ASI SUP Instructor Training Centre (ITC).  Aaron is authorised to train others to be ASI accredited stand up paddle instructors in Florida and other locations worldwide.

Surfit USA offers private  and group lessons for beginner to distance paddling skills for all ages,  as well as SUP Wise certificate courses, sup fitness, sup yoga, sup tours, social sup events, parties, school groups, stags and hens parties and corporate team building functions.

The SUP School also specialises in kids camps that also include general waterman skills.

SUP adventure tours are also organised to Alaska and Hawaii.

Sarosota is set against the South Lido Nature Park, one of the most beautiful places on earth and discover dolphins, manatee, mangrove tunnels and more!   It’s ideal for flat water paddling, lessons and tours.   

Sessions are also held at the white sand beaches of Siesta Key, Turtle Beach and the inner coastal waters of Nakomis.  Also ideal for beginners and for those wanting to increase and develop their SUP paddling techniques. 

Aaron and his team bring the waterman Hawaii aloha spirit to all their sessions.  Having fun, whilst being safe on the water is a priority.
