Enrol into 2 (two) ASI SUP instructor qualifications at the same time and take advantage of the combined workshop discount fee.

These courses are delivered over 3 days.  It’s the ideal way to get qualified.

Level 1 SUP Instructor Enclosed Flat Waters  
Sat-Sun. 7-8 September 2019.    9am to 5pm (2 days)


Level 2 SUP Instructor Exposed Waters 
Mon. 9 September 2019.    9am to 5pm  (1 day)


HOSTING
Strive Adventure are providing local support for the ASI Instructor workshops, providing a wealth of local area knowledge.  


PRACTICAL HOURS
Strive Adventure can also provide on-the-job practical experience.


IMPORTANT INFORMATION

(1) 
​Read the course information and requirements before enrolling.

(2) 
Within 12 months for attending the workshop, instructors must submit a:
-Water Rescue Certificate
-Senior First Aid certificate
Your SUP instructor certificate will not be issued until these are received.

(3) 
You must enrol in SUP Wise for Instructors Foundation Skills. (3 hours)  
Course information
Exemption only provided if you have completed SUP Wise at an ASI school or are aware of, understand and can demonstrate the ASI paddling techniques and methodologies.

(4)
ASI delivers the ASI SUP Water Safety Rescue Course. (half day).  Complete the enrolment form.

(5)
Enrol in the combined courses for: SUP Wise for Instructors Foundation Skills and SUP Rescue, and receive combined course discount.  (delivered on 1 day at the same time as this Instructor course).

(6)
After the workshop you will complete practical hours experience.

Please bring the following equipment: 

  • Flat water SUP board & coiled leash
  • Paddle 
  • SUP paddling clothing


Equipment can be stored at the training venue overnight. 


If you are travelling and don’t have your SUP board or SUP gear, you can hire it from Strive Adventure.

The training is held at the Strathyre Outdoor Centre and includes onsite accommodation and cooking facilities. 

It is located at Strathrye, a small village set in a national park with a vast number of lochs and rivers.

They are ideal for paddling with some lochs over 2 miles wide and many miles long and offering calm flat water and exposed waters conditions. 

The national park is also idea for outdoor activities with trails for mountain biking, bush hiking, etc.

The village has a number of pubs and eating places.

Strathyre is also easily accessible by car and is serviced by major roadways.
