Level up your ride! The ASI Bodyboard Wise Intermediate Bodyboarder framework identifies the skills needed to break out of the shallows and start performing manoeuvres.

Demonstrate ability to control the bodyboard and link intermediate level bodyboarding manoeuvres, in the top half of the wave, below the lip.

Pre-requisite
Bodyboard Wise Beginner Bodyboarder
Surf Safety
Able to swim 200 metres
And able to swim from surf break back to shore (distance depends on where you are surfing)
Bodyboarding Environment
Assess surf conditions-weather, swell, tides, wind direction, speed
Identify how to read waves - water conditions, wave types, suitability, left and right waves, wave frequency
Identify 5 different types of surf breaks
