Workshops.  Full refund less $75 administration fee provided on minimum notice of 14 days prior to workshop date. Online courses, no refund paid once application has been processed.  More info..

This enrolment option is a one stop enrolment form covering the below courses.

Note:  SUP Rescue and SUP Wise Intensiv courses are required in order to gain your ASI SUP instructor qualification. 


Level 1 SUP Instructor (Enclosed Flat Water)  
Sunday-Monday. 26-27 February 2023.   9am to 5pm (2 days)  

Level 2 SUP Instructor (Exposed Waters)
Tuesday. 28 February 2023.   9am to 5pm  (1 day)

SUP Tonic are providing local support for the ASI training, providing a wealth of local area knowledge.  

SUP Tonic can provide practical hours instructing experience.

The following equipment and clothing is required to complete the training:

  • SUP board & coiled leash
  • Paddle
  • SUP clothing 

If you are travelling and don’t have your SUP board or SUP gear, you can rent it from the trainer.

The training is held at Garvey Park, Ascot, with onsite training room and right on the water, on the Swan River.

It’s peaceful location, with a park, café and easy access to the water and an ideal place to stand up paddle, explore the local waterways and see the local wildlife. 

Only 5 mins from Perth Airport, there is also a range of accommodation close by. 

Exposed waters training practical on water session is held at the ocean, only a short drive from Garvey Park. 

Perth is vibrant city with an active outdoors environment.   The summers can be hot - up to 40 C.  The winters are mild with sunny days.  Great selection of cafes, pubs and nightlife makes it a great place to live and visit.
