Full refund less €60 administration fee provided on minimum notice of 14 days prior to start date of course.  No refund is provided once training manuals have been posted or e-learning account has been accessed.

Podes-te inscrever agora e começar o teu treino geral. A ASI também pode emitir o diploma relativo à componente geral.

O curso é composto por 3 partes:
1. Treino Geral: a partir de 19 Março 2021
2. Treino Específico:  3 Maio - 8 Maio 2021.  9.00h – 17.30 hr
3. Estágio: 9 Maio 2021 – 11 Novembro  2021

É concluído após os workshops.

However, ASI are waiting on approval from the IPDJ for this component of the training. 
3. Internship 
550 hours.  120 contact hours 
Is completed after the workshops.

Who have previously completed or enrolled in the ASI level 1 Surfing Instructor (international) course.

Pay this now for the General Component and pay the remainder of the course fee when the Specific is approved by the IPDJ.
Your position will also be reserved for the workshop.

We may have a limit on the number who people who can enrol and attend the face to face workshops.
The workshop dates may be change at the last minute.

Taxi:  From Faro airport  to Sagres.  Approx. 107€ / 137€ .

Lisbon Airport  (3 hour drive).  
Car hire: available at airport. Very good motorways.
Public bus to Lagos.  From bus station about 10 mins dirve from airport. Approx.  €20 (comfortable, usually wifi enabled)

Closest Bus Station:
Sagres station. From airport take the bus to Lagos and change bus to go to Sagres.

Closest Train Station:   
Lagos station.  No direct train;  From Faro airport, train to Lagos,  then get a bus to Sagres.



Sagres is one of Portugal’s most historic towns.

The town is on a headland overlooking a picturesque harbour and surrounded by protected national park.

It is an area of unspoiled beaches and parkland and dramatic cliffs.   Due to its position on a headland, you can see the sun rise over the ocean and also set over the ocean.   The sunrise and sunsets are spectacular.

The town itself is small with many cafes and restaurants and hangout surf shacks.  There is an abundance of surfing locations to choose from.

The area has an average of 300 sunny days per year.
