ASI SUP Yoga Trainer, Matt Worley, is an elite level surfer, stand up paddler and expired yoga teacher. He is also a certified AcroYoga teacher. He is in demand delivering yoga, SUP yoga and acro yoga classes and retreats around the world.
Matt is also a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider® (YACEP®). This course will earn you 20 hours of continuing education credits.
Delivered over 2 days, it’s the ideal way to get qualified.

SUP Yoga Teacher
Wednesday-Thursday. 27-28 March 2019. 9am to 5pm (2 days)
Constant Wind Seasports are providing local support for the ASI Instructor workshops, providing a wealth of local area knowledge.

Prior to the workshop, you must submit a 200 hour yoga teacher certificate.
Within 12 months from attending the workshop, SUP Yoga Teachers must submit a:
-Water Rescue Certificate
-Senior First Aid certificate
Your ASI SUP Yoga teacher certificate will not be issued until these are received.
You must enrol in SUP Wise for Instructors Foundation Skills. (3 hours)
Exemption provided if you have completed SUP Wise at an ASI school or are aware of, understand and can demonstrate the ASI paddling techniques and methodologies.
ASI delivers the ASI SUP Water Safety Rescue Course. (half day). Complete the enrolment form.
Enrol in the combined courses for: SUP Wise for Instructors Foundation Skills and SUP Rescue, and receive combined course discount. (delivered on 1 day at the same time as this SUP Yoga Teacher course on 27 May 2019).
After the workshop you will complete practical hours experience.

- Flat water SUP board or SUP Yoga board & coiled leash
- SUP paddling clothing
Your board and gear can be left overnight at the training room venue.
If you are travelling and don’t have your SUP board or SUP gear, you can hire it from Constant Wind Sea Sports Centre.
