About the Location

Bohol is an island located in central Philippines (south of Cebu), and can be conveniently reached by air and boat.   It is only 1 hour and 15 minutes flying time from Manila.

Bohol is one of most beautiful places to visit in the Philippines.    It is rich on rivers, mountains and white-sand beaches.

There are four main rivers that run through Bohol with crystal clear waters, numerous waterfalls and caves.  There is also an abundance of wildlife and birds.

Bohol cradles the tourist islands of Panglao, Balicasag Island, Virgin Island among many islands.   Bohol is a mystic island by itself as it houses one of the natural wonders of the world, the magnificent, Chocolate Hills.   They are hills made of limestone left over from coral reefs during the Ice Age when the island was submerged. They turn brown during the summer.

Bohol also has many historical sites and centuries-old churches.

November to April: Except for a rare shower, this is the mildest time of the year. Daytime temperatures average 28 °C (82 °F), cooling at night to around 25 °C (77 °F).
