Learn how to stand up paddle and have SUP lessons at SUP Kite Surf Lord Howe Island, an ASI accredited learn to stand up paddle school, located 600km (373 miles) off the north coast of NSW and less than two hours' flight from Sydney.

Lord Howe Island is a World Heritage-listed paradise with pristine waters, beautiful scenery, a big lagoon with lots of marine life such as turtles, dolphins, stingrays and lots of reef fish.

SUP, Kite, Surf Lord Howe Island, is owned and operated by Chad Wilson.   He has surfed since a young and started paddling in 2007.  He holds ASI SUP Instructor accreditation for Level 1 Enclosed Flat Waters, Level 2 Exposed Waters and Level 3 SUP Beginner Surf, first aid and rescue qualifications, is a Dive Master (PADI) and kiteboarding instructor and holds a Boating Coxswain ticket for commercial Fishing and Scenic Tours.

Chad has an extensive background in tourism including being an Adventure Guide for 5 yrs with Marine Adventures Lord Howe Island, fisherman and scenic tour guide on ‘MV Carina’ & ‘MV Chamaeleon’ 15yrs, Deckhand on Super Yachts in the Mediterranean.

He started the SUP school to introduce people to SUP in one of the most beautiful locations in the world.  Lord Howe Island is a perfect place for learning to SUP and also for advanced paddlers.  

SUP, Kite, Surf Lord Howe Island offers group and private SUP lessons, certificate courses, SUP guided tours for children, adults, parties, school groups, backpackers, universities and corporates.   Accommodation packages can also be organised.
