Learn how to stand up paddle and have SUP lessons and tours at She SUP’s, an ASI accredited learn to stand up paddle school, catering for women, located at Manly and Middle Harbour in Sydney.

She SUP’s is owned and operated by Vikki Weston.   Vikki has a kayaking background  (with a particular love of touring and expeditions) but struggled as a single female paddler transporting and storing a kayak. She turned to SUP, initially just as an easy way to get out on the water, but soon she was hooked! SUP enabled her to explore many hidden waterways all around the world (and many she never knew existed in her own back yard!).

As her passion for SUP grew, Vikki naturally began sharing that with others whether that was taking friends on their first SUP experiences, or sharing her travels on social media.

Vikki has always had a love for the outdoors and also works as a Scout Leader and Kayak Guide. Her work background is in customer experience strategy and design, designing great experiences within retail environments and online. She brings this experience to design fun, unique and empowering SUP experiences for She SUPs paddlers.

Vikki set up the SUP School to provide SUP sessions for women only.  Based on her own experience, she found that discriminatory social norms and stereotypes can prevent women from pursuing adventurous activities and outdoor sports.

The aim is to build a community focused on creating a safe environment for women to try something new, learn, grow, connect with others and the planet and ultimately feel empowered through adventure.

ikki is an ASI Accredited SUP Instructor holding first aid and rescue qualifications.

She SUP’s offers SUP Confidence lessons in a group setting or privately (1 on 1) and  She SUPs Adventure paddles for beginners, intermediate and advanced paddlers.

The She SUPs Adventure paddles are designed as a journey, to empower our paddlers to progress and grow their SUP confidence and eventually set off on their own SUP adventures.

Here is what some women from our community have said so far :

"I SO highly recommend being a part of the She SUPs community! It honestly doesn’t matter what your skill level is, She SUPs caters for everyone. The community that Vikki has built is incredible and so supportive - I’m grateful to be a part of it. I’ve also been fortunate enough to join Vikki for a couple of paddles and I’ve had such an amazing time. I own a paddle board but never really had the confidence to go out alone (or to actually get it all set up in the first place) and Vikki helped me with my board setup and also giving me the confidence to go to different waterways by myself!"

"She SUPs has been amazing! I admit I was a little apprehensive at my first session having never SUP'd before but Vikki was so welcoming and supportive. All the She SUP sessions have been well organised and enjoyable. It's quickly become a favourite pastime! Looking forward to the next She SUPs adventure."

"Vikki puts everyone at ease and makes you feel so welcome, no matter your ability. It’s all about women supporting one another and no judgement. I thoroughly enjoyed my first community paddle with 15 other women from around the world. Really looking forward to the next opportunity to SUP with an awesome group."

"I arrived in Sydney from Scotland keen to try SUP but not sure where to start. I came across She SUPs and honestly it has been far more than I could have anticipated! Vikki is so lovely. I was running late for the first meet up and felt so flustered but Vikki immediately made me feel at ease and has a fantastic way of encouraging confidence! I have absolutely loved my SUP adventures and they are definitely an Australian highlight so far! I would massively recommend She SUPs as a fab community and a great way to take part in a fun activity with lovely people!"

She SUPs Adventure paddles are curated SUP experiences based in beautiful sheltered flatwater waterways around Sydney.

We select paddle locations which provide a safe environment for our female paddlers to learn, grow and connect with others and the planet.
