UK, ENGLAND. The sun was shining but there were strong winds for these trainee instructors attending the instructor training workshops at Carbis Bay, near St Ives in April.
It was a case of working out the best locations based on wind direction and strength.
The Trainees put their best feet forward over the 3 days for L1 SUP Instructor Enclosed Flat Water, SUP Rescue and SUP Wise for Instructors courses held on the calm canal waters.
Then day 4 was out in the ocean, with challenging conditions, learning safely and instructional techniques specifically for exposed waters.
Delivered by ASI local trainer, Glenn Eldridge, hosted by Ocean Sports Centre. Well done everyone !
Next workshops in Carbis Bay are May on 21-24 May.
ASI is a professional membership and training organisation and international governing body for instructors, coaches and schools in the outdoor recreation industry for surfing, stand up paddle and bodyboarding.
