Qatar is a vibrant multi-cultural city preparing to host the 2022 Fifa World Cup.
The ASI SUP Instructor courses are delivered at the world's most luxurious man-made island, The Pearl- Qatar, and enjoys all year round sunshine, palm trees, beautiful beaches!
Choose to explore the modern city and the culture and heritage, by visiting traditional market place Souq Waqif, the Museum of Islamic art or mix in some great shopping at the malls, or head out to nature into the desert and sea, for an untouched, wilderness experience.
There are fantastic flat water paddling routes around The Pearl-Qatar and to the close by protected islands with pink flamingos. You can find fun downwinders in the north of the country with long stretches of natural, untouched beaches and turquoise water, where you might spot dolphins too!
A trip through the sand dunes of the south by 4x4 takes you to the unique Inland sea Khawr al Udayed. Nestled among the sand dunes, there is no similar lagoonal system known anywhere else in the world. Paddle the channel that is on one shore Qatar and Saudi Arabia on the other.
