Surfing Programs and Prices
Group Lessons
Group lessons are fun. You meet new friends and learn important surfing and swimming surf safety tips during your surf class.
Our friendly coaches are always in the water for your comfort and safety for you and your children attending these surf classes.
Max 12 students - minimum 5 students
Class runs for 1.5 hours
One lesson $40.00
Three lessons $100.00
Five lessons $180.00
Private Lessons
Private classes are available for those who have got as much out of a group lesson or have purchased their own board and want to progress in the sport of surfing.
Students have a choice to either progress through the ASI surfing certification program and make up a three to five day surf clinic customised to themselves. On completion, receive a certificate from ASI which gives you the Statement of Attainment in Sport and Recreation qualification or just the non-accredited certificate for those of you just want basic knowledge in the sport.
Maximum two students per lesson
One lesson one person $60.00 an hour
One lesson two people $100.00 an hour
Surfing Video
Surfing video is available at $40.00 an hour. Ideal for surf correction training or just surf memorabilia.
School Holiday Kids Beach Club (KBC) Program
During the days activities we take the kids surfing (pending on wave size and availability)-snorkling - beach cricket - sandcastle building - bush walking to the little bay to visit the ducks and kangaroos - beach volley ball / bakaro-beach hand ball.
5 students per group minimum. Ten students per group maximum.
Time:
10.00am - 3.00pm
What We Provide:
rash shirts and water all day.
lunch each day. Healthy food only. No junk food. Menu made every day fresh. We have a policy at wedge surf skool which is no junk food allowed during KBC program days. We, at Wedge Surf Skool, try and meet the healthy food groups with in our lunch and are a big supporter of the obesity problem we are facing in Australia. "NO JUNK FOOD ALLOWED"
sunsceen is supplied to all student and we have a re-apply time each hour - two hour intervals.
What To Bring:
Students are to supply their own towel and hat.

5 day visit $250.00 per student
Parents that want to attend with their kids: $20.00 (surfing not included)
Wedge Instructor Training Centre Programs for 2009
Surfing Instructor Apprenticeship
6 week program
Theory class: meet at South West Rocks Draft training room, at South West Rocks industrial area. Each student will attend theory class one day a week and surf class practical one day a week.
At the end of the course each student will be presented with an ASI Surfing Instructor (Level 1) certificate and a Statement of Attainment in Certificate III in Sport & Recreation
