Supervised SUP Rentals (Designated Activity Zone)

Rentals are conducted at a defined location within a controlled paddling area.

While paddlers may temporarily move out of direct line-of-sight, a qualified SUP instructor remains on site at all times—actively monitoring water conditions, weather shifts, and rental duration to ensure safe return to shore.

Supervised Rental Provider Guidelines

Experience Screening: Verify that renters hold prior stand up paddling experience before releasing equipment.
Location Guidance: Explain the paddling boundaries to the renter.
Safety & Emergency Briefing: Explain environmental safety hazards, actions to take and emergency protocols.
Gear Inspections: Supply quality, well-maintained paddleboards, correctly sized paddles, and appropriate safety leashes with mandatory usage instructions.

Unsupervised SUP Rentals (Off-Site or Independent Paddling)

Rentals occur when clients collect equipment to paddle independently without real-time instructor monitoring.

Renter Prerequisites & Safety Agreement
