This ASI instructors course provides you with all the skills and knowledge to effectively teach downwind paddling in distances up to 10 km in open water coastal or inland locations.
Downwind locations for this instructors level are defined as wide open stretches of water such as exposed coastal waters and protected bays, lakes, lagoons. Swell size up to 4 ft, wind behind and speed greater than 15 knots and less than 20 knots, no more than 500 metres from shore.
