Tourism Attractions
Cronulla can be summed up as a relaxed coastal hub where long beaches, ocean pools, and a strong surf culture meet a growing dining scene. Its signature attraction is the Cronulla Beach Walk, a four‑kilometre clifftop and shoreline trail linking Wanda Beach, North Cronulla Beach and the historic Bass and Flinders Point. Family‑friendly spots like Shelly Beach Rockpool add to its appeal, while the Matthew Flinders and George Bass Monument highlights the area’s maritime heritage.
Beyond nature, Cronulla’s culture is shaped by its surf‑town identity and a dining scene influenced by Mediterranean flavours, Lebanese family cooking, and modern chef‑led cafés — making it a destination where beach lifestyle, coastal history, and diverse food culture all come together.
Seal Rocks, on the NSW Barrington Coast, is best known for its wild beaches, remote coastal scenery, and the historic Sugarloaf Point Lighthouse, one of Australia’s most distinctive maritime landmarks. Visitors come for Number One Beach, Boat Beach, Treachery Headland walks, and access to Myall Lakes National Park, all offering pristine nature and wildlife viewing.
Culturally, the village is defined by its heritage lighthouse, quiet surf culture, and preserved coastal character. There is a single local store and cafés located a short drive away, reinforcing Seal Rocks’ identity as a peaceful, low‑key escape.
