Surfs Up Surf School is owned and run by Dean Dunstone. Hes been surfing for over 30 years and has surfed at locations all over the world. Dean has been an active member of surf lifesaving performing his first rescue when he was just 13 years old. He also played the part of the young surf grommet in the cult movie, Puberty Blues!
Dean is an accredited surfing instructor, holds his surf rescue, advanced resuscitation, senior first aid qualifications, and NSW bus operators licence. He has extensive experience in teaching surfing and running surf camps in remote locations including living and teaching surfing in California. Dean is also an accomplished music promoter organising large music gigs at famous Bondi Beach - all skills he brings to Surfs Up.
Dean and his team of qualified instructors aim to provide the ultimate surfing weekend adventure. Step into the surf life, camp in the national park close to the beach and live the life of a travelling surfer. Lesson are provided for beginners and those wanting to experience an Aussie surf adventure.
