Learn how to surf and have surfing lessons at Surfaris, an ASI accredited surf school, with 5 day surfing trips in national parks between Byron Bay and Sydney, Australia. We also have a surf camp at Crescent Head-Point Plomer.

Surfaris is owned and managed by Brien Lester. He was a founding member of the Australian Surfing Association and NSW representative of that body through its inaugural decade of the 60’s. He was a finalist in many State and Australian surfing titles over the same period.

Brien founded Surfaris in 1994 to provide the ultimate Australian surf adventure. Surfaris takes you to remote locations and is the same route that early Sydney surfers blazed in the early 60’s. Surfing locations are chosen to maximise the best conditions, with camping in beautiful national parks.

Surfaris has a team of highly experienced and accredited instructors, holding a variety of surf lifesaving, first aid and advanced resuscitation qualifications. All instructors are also excellent surfers with many years of surfing and camping at remote locations in Australia and around the world.

Surfaris provides surfing experiences and lessons for the beginner right through to advanced surfers.
