Learn how to surf and have surfing lessons at Salty Girls Surf School, an ASI accredited surf school, located at Cabarita Beach just 30 minutes south of Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast.

Salty Girls Surf School is owned by Belen Kimble and Joshua Fuller. They are both professional surfers having traveled the world competing. Belen manages the surf school. She is a professional long boarder and has surfed everything from 1ft on shore D bah to 10 ft Sunset Beach. Belen has spent most of her professional life in Hawaii surfing every kind of condition imaginable. She won the Roxy Longboard Santa Cruz, was Am Longboard champion and held two noseriding championships in Hawaii.

Belen is an accredited surf coach holding Surf rescue, Defribralator, Advanced Resuscitation, Senior first Aid / CPR qualifications and has over 10 years experience teaching with Surf Diva Surf School in California. This included writing manuals, creating workshop and running kids camps in California and Costa Rica and for Billabong on the east and west coasts and for Sister Surf School in Canada. She also taught autistic children in San Onofre.

Belen and her all-female staff hold group and private lessons for beginner to advanced level, surfing certificate courses, surfing guide trips, team building, surf safety & awareness, special occasion clinics, including bachelorette and birthday parties for girls and women of all ages.

We also provide childrens surf camps for school holidays. And we can help organise budget to luxury accommodation if you want to have a surfing weekend getaway or longer holiday.

Having an all girls surf school is something I have wanted to start for years, says Belen. I remember in my early years how discouraged I sometimes felt in the male dominated surfing world. At Salty Girls Surf School we offer a supportive environment that helps boost your confidence from catching that first wave up to attaining sponsorship if you are interested in competing.
