Learn how to surf and have surfing lessons at Offshore Surf Tours, an ASI accredited surf school located at Torquay, only 95 kms (about 70 minutes) from Melbourne. It’s also near the famous Bells Beach surf break.
Offshore Surf Tours also specialises in surf camps and tours at special locations along the scenic and famous Great Ocean Road.
Offshore Surf Tours is owned and run by Alistair Lawson. He’s been surfing for over 14 years and has surfed all over the world. Originally from the UK, Alistair settled in Torquay over 10 years ago because of its great surf and amazing natural beauty. Alistair also has an extensive background in personal fitness training including winning many fitness competitions. He combines his fitness knowledge training with surfing to ensure that everyone maximises their potential to get up and riding.
Alistair and his team are all accredited instructors and also hold surf rescue and senior first aid qualifications.
Offshore Surf Tours offers group and private surfing lessons for beginner to intermediate levels, team building, surf awareness and surfboard hire for kids, adults, families, parties, school groups and corporates.
Surf camps and tours range from 1 to 4 days. You stay in beach cabin accommodation and travel along the coast to different surf breaks and attractions. Kangeroos and natural Aussie wildlife greet you as you walk to the beach.
We also ensure tour group sizes are small with no more than 14 people. We want to give you lots of personalised attention and provide a wide range of information so you can become immersed in the surfing lifestyle. There is also a pick up-return service from Melbourne to Torquay.
