Learn how to surf and have surfing lessons at Midwest Surf School, an ASI accredited surf school, located at beautiful Main Beach, Geraldton, WA Australia. It’s about 4 ½ hours north of Perth.
Midwest Surf School is owned by Keith Roffman. He's an elite surfer and has been surfing since he was 10 years of age. Keith is a qualified Education teacher, holds a Bachelor of Sports Science degree, has been a surfing judge and holds a surfing instructor qualification, Bronze Life Saving Medallion and First Aid certificates.
Keith has extensive coaching experience. He's travelled around the world surfing and also providing coaching lessons in countries such as Bali, Peru, USA, Spain and South Africa. He provides coaching for the local Boardrider club and the Christian surfers association.
Keith started the surf school because he loves surfing and loves teaching. The Back Beach is one of the best places to learn to surf in the world. The waves are just perfect for beginners.
Keith has designed his learn to surf program to ensure you will be up and riding in no time. He hasn’t had a person who hasn’t been able to stand up! It’s great seeing people progressing from no experience to standing up. We want people to feel they have achieved something and got value for money. We also help you choose the right board and equipment and anything to do surfing - all part of the service.
Midwest Surf School offers group and private lessons for beginner to advanced level, certificate courses, surfing guide trips, team building, surfing awareness, board hire, for kids, adults, parties, school groups, disadvantage groups and corporates
