Brad Holmes Surf Coaching is owned and run by Brad Holmes. Brad has been teaching surfing to students of all ages from beginners to advanced on the Gold Coast since 1992, and stand up paddle since it became popular.

Brad grew up on the Gold Coast . He is a Level 1 Stand Up Paddle Instructor (Enclosed Flat Water, Level 2 Surfing Coach, Level 3 Surfing Judge, ASI Level 1 Surfing Instructor Trainer and holds a Diploma of Sports Management (Surfing Studies – 2004), Level 1 CADs (Coaching Athletes with Disabilities), surf rescue, advanced resuscitation and senior first aid qualifications.

Brad specialises in personalised (private one-on-one) stand up paddle coaching. Lessons are conducted in the Budds Beach, Surfers Paradise. It’s a very peaceful and picturesque location. We paddle in clear water looking out at the boats, the mountains and the city. It‘s a painters dream setting.

Stand up paddle activities are tailored to your needs and can incorporate Tai Chi and Yoga (as Brad is an qualified Tai Chi Instructor). Stand up paddle sessions can include improving technique, sightseeing, a fitness workout or just relaxing and de-stressing.
