Learn how to surf and have surfing lessons at Darlington Beach Surf School, an ASI accredited surf school, located at Arrawarra and Corindi Beaches, approximately 25 kilometres north of Coffs Harbour, North Coast, NSW Australia.
Darlington Beach Surf School is owned and run by Steve Bailey. Steve has been surfing for 35 years and is an experienced surfer having surfed all around the world including Hawaii, Indonesia, Mexico and Tahiti. He has a solid background in coaching surfing lessons at surf schools to people of all ages and backgrounds.
Steve is an accredited surfing instructor, holds surf rescue, advanced resuscitation and senior first aid certificates as well as Level 1 rugby coaching, and Train the Helper qualification with the Disabled Surfers Association of Australia.
Steve started Darlington Beach Surf School in response to demand from tourists and holidaymakers. Arrawarra and Corindi beaches are really beautiful places, with pristine beaches and wildlife everywhere. As you head down to the surf, you often see kangeroos hop past you and colourful rosella’s fly by. It really is special - nature's wonderland.
Darlington Beach Surf School offers group and private surfing lessons, beginner to advanced, surfing guide trips, surfing awareness, for kids, adults, parties, school groups and corporates. Surfboard hire is also available. And we can help organise accommodation if you plan to stay for a holiday.
Steve loves surfing and working with others to help them learn to surf. Providing surf lessons for family groups is something Steve really enjoys. Everyone has a great time bonding and its great to see the look on their faces when they stand up and ride a wave. The whole family is cheering !!
