Learn how to surf and have surfing lessons at Cabarita Beach Surf School, an ASI accredited surf school, located at Cabarita Beach just 30 minutes south of Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast.
Cabarita Beach Surf School is owned by Belen Kimble and Joshua Fuller. They are both professional surfers having traveled the world competing. Josh manages the surf school. He grew up in Cabarita and started surfing at an early age, was competing at the age of 14 and on the professional circuit by the time he was 22. Josh spent the next six years touring the world with great results at places like Pipeline and Sunset.
Starting the surf school has allowed me to share my experience. As a kid surfing, there wasn’t much guidance and instruction and it was all a bit of a slow learning curve for me. Its great now to be able to share all the knowledge I have gained – and help make it easier for people to learn and progress - from the very beginner to those wanting to compete. There’s nothing better than seeing the smiles on peoples faces when they stand up and ride their first wave.
Joshua and his team of instructors hold accredited surfing instructor qualifications, surf rescue, advanced resuscitation and senior first aid qualifications.
Cabarita Beach Surf School offers group and private surfing lessons, beginner and advanced and competition level, surfing guide trips, surf camps, team building and surfing awareness for kids, adults, parties, school groups and corporates.
Surfing lessons also include extensive ocean and water knowledge as well as awareness of ecological issues.
