| Course Requirements |
Complete ASI instructors manual and workbook (written assessments)
Practical experience: Provide a long-term surfing coaching plan for a student you have coached at a minimum at regional competitions.
Provide a copy of your current certificates for:
• surf rescue or lifesaving medallion or APOLA
• senior first aid
• advanced resuscitation

provide current copies of your surf rescue, first aid and advanced resuscitation certificates
provide a letter from an approved surf school or ASI Master Surfing Coach (Level 4) stating you have delivered 25 hours of advanced level surfing instruction
provide evidence that you have coached at least 1 person to regional level over a three year period
