Stand Up paddle is a relatively new sport but is becoming very popular. ASI accredited SUP instructors are trained to the highest standards worldwide, to teach correct SUP techniques and implement high levels of safety in both flat water and ocean locations.

ASI has developed 4 career qualification levels.

 

Level 1 Stand Up Paddle Instructor Enclosed Flat Water	Qualified to instruct in enclosed flat water locations. Instructors have a minimum of enclosed flat water level SUP skill and knowledge Read more
Level 2 Stand Up Paddle Instructor Surf	Qualified to instruct beginner surf in 1½ ft (1 metre) surf. Instructors have SUP intermediate surf skill and knowledge. Read more
Level 3 Stand Up Paddle Instructor Surf	Qualified to instruct beginner to advanced level in surf up to 6ft. Instructors have advanced level SUP skill and experience.
Level 4 Master Stand Up Paddle Coach	Qualified to instruct beginner to advanced ocean level in surf over 6ft. Master SUP coaches are highly experienced and in the top skill level worldwide. They have a minimum of elite-advanced SUP skill and knowledge.
