Combine your love of surfing with business units to gain a college surfing qualification. All qualifications are Australian (NRT) issued under the auspices of the Australian Department of Education and Training.
Your days will be spent at the beach, some classroom theory and research to develop your surfing knowledge and business skills.
You can attend ASI affiliated colleges or work on-the-job and gain surfing qualifications from beginner to surfing instructor level.
If you live in Australia, you can apply for Austudy financial assistance. If you live outside Australia, we can help with study visas.
You can also apply to do a nationally recognised traineeship combining on the job learning with structured training. Now learning is more fun and easier than ever !!

Certificate I in Sport & Recreation (Surfing) |

| For the surfer. Learn to surf on small waves, business administration skills and how to promote products and services to client. Ideal for those people wanting to gain an entry level position within the surfing industry. 6 month course.

Certificate II in Sport & Recreation (Surfing) |

Certificate II in Sport & Recreation (Retail Surf Shop) |
| The ideal retail qualification combined with your love of surfing. This is an entry level position where you will learn retail operations including point of sale handling procedures, balance register terminal, stock control, merchandising and sales of products plus you will also hit the beach and learn to surf at the level.

Certificate III in Sport & Recreation (Surfing Instructor) |
| This qualification is for those people interested in being a surfing instructor. You will learn intermediate surfing skill and knowledge, how to instruct at the beginner to intermediate level, business administration and sales/marketing skills. You will also receive a accreditation from the Academy of Surfing Instructors.
