The ASI accredited Level 2 bodyboarding instructor training course is for instructors with advanced bodyboardingng skill and at least 3 years bodyboarding instruction experience.

Aim

Manage and instruct clients at the beginner to advanced bodyboarding skill.

  • Identify and manage advanced level bodyboarding risks and hazards
  • Minimise environmental impacts (social and natural)
  • Emergency processes and response
  • Assess students advanced level skills and identify areas for training
  • Prepare individualised training programs for advanced level students
  • Evaluating bodyboarding lessons

      Entry requirements

      Before enrolling, you must have:

      • Advanced level or above bodyboarding skill and knowledge
      • Current Level 1 Bodyboarding Instructor accreditation
      • Minimum of 3 years recent continuous bodyboarding instruction experience


      Other requirements

      • current surf rescue certificate
      • current senior first aid certificate

      You can obtain these after enrolling but must be completed to obtain your ASI qualification.

      Australian Nationally Recognised Training (NRT)  Statement of Attainment in Certificate IV in Sport & Recreation (SRO30106).
