The qualifications are recognised outside Australia. Many overseas students come to Australia to study these qualifications.

Nationally Recognised Training qualifications can only be issued by a training organisation that has been formally recognised by the relevant Australian State Training Authority.

Australian training organisations include TAFE, private colleges and some universities.

Nationally Recognised Training certificates display the NRT logo.
